Why Pakistanis in Italy Send Gifts to Peshawar
Italy is home to a large Pakistani community, especially in northern regions such as Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna. Many of these families have strong ties to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Naturally, they want to stay part of every celebration at home.
Common reasons to order from Italy
- Parents’ birthdays and anniversaries
- Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha
- A sibling’s wedding or a new baby
- Exam results and graduations
- Get-well wishes for elderly relatives
- Simply saying “I miss you”
In each case, a surprise at the door makes the distance feel smaller.
Why Local Delivery Beats Shipping from Italy
Posting a parcel from Italy to Pakistan can take a long time, and customs may add delays. On top of that, fresh items simply can’t make the journey.
| Shipping from Italy | Zarrasha local delivery |
|---|---|
| Can take days or weeks | Delivered on your chosen slot in Peshawar |
| Customs checks possible | No international shipping involved |
| Cakes and flowers can’t travel | Prepared fresh in Peshawar |
| Hard to time a surprise | You pick the date and time |
| No hot food | Hot meals delivered to the door |
In short, ordering locally keeps your gift fresh and your surprise on time.

Time Difference: Italy vs Peshawar
Italy uses Central European Time, while Pakistan stays on one time all year. Therefore, the gap changes with the seasons.
| Period | Peshawar is ahead by | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Winter (late Oct – late Mar) | 4 hours | 10 am in Milan = 2 pm in Peshawar |
| Summer (late Mar – late Oct) | 3 hours | 10 am in Rome = 1 pm in Peshawar |
Since the gap is fairly small, a morning order in Italy may still arrive the same day in Peshawar. However, for custom cakes or big bouquets, it’s safer to order a day ahead.
